'Victory' Team Leads World Powerboat Championship

The 'Victory' team has strengthened its position at the top of the 'X-Cat' class World Championship powerboat racing standings. After finishing second in the second race of the Kuwait Grand Prix, the team earned 30 points. This follows their first-place finish in the opening race, where they scored 35 points, bringing their total to 65 and their overall championship points to 130. The duo of Salem Al-Addi and Isa Al-Ali on board the Victory Team 7 boat delivered an outstanding performance. After winning the first race last Thursday, they successfully secured second place in the second race held on Saturday, increasing their overall points to 135 and surpassing the British team, which has 108 points. The team from Fujairah is in third place with 76 points, followed by the Kuwaiti team with 66 points. The second race featured strong competition between Emirati teams. The Fujairah team on boat #96, piloted by Rosario Di Cola and Giuseppe Di Cola, claimed first place with a time of 27:17.72 minutes. Victory Team 7 finished second, just 8.95 seconds behind. The British team secured third place, trailing by 15.22 seconds. The focus now shifts to the Dubai Grand Prix, scheduled for next December, which will be the final stop of the 2025 World Championship.
