Victory Team 7, driven by the duo Salem Al-Addidi and Isa Al-Ali, won the first race of the Kuwait Grand Prix for powerboats in the 'X-Cat' category, making a remarkable start and continuing their lead in the 2025 World Championship standings. The team completed the race, held this Thursday, with a time of 33:13.65, finishing ahead of Kuwait Team 17, which came in second, 1:06.06 minutes behind, and Great Britain Team 8, which was 1:20.65 minutes behind. 'Victory Team' showed their readiness from the morning, leading the first official practice session with the fastest lap time of 2:32 minutes. Although they started fourth from the second gate, the duo Salem Al-Addidi and Isa Al-Ali maintained pressure during the race, capitalizing on a technical failure of the Sharjah 9 boat to take the lead in the first race and secure the victory. 'Victory Team' strengthened its position at the top of the World Championship general standings, raising its total to 100 points, benefitting from the 35 points earned for first place in the first race. They are followed by Great Britain Team in second place with 82 points, and Kuwait Team in third place with 66 points.
