The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced that specialized security agencies, following precise and intensive surveillance and tracking operations, managed to uncover and apprehend a terrorist cell affiliated with 'Hezbollah,' which aims to destabilize the country and recruit individuals. Security investigations and inquiries revealed a subversive plot orchestrated by the group's members, comprising (14) citizens and (2) Lebanese nationals, targeting the nation's sovereignty and stability, and seeking to spread chaos and disrupt public order. This poses a direct threat to national security and endangers the lives of citizens, residents, and state assets. The ministry also stated that after obtaining the necessary legal warrant from the Public Prosecution, several items were seized from the terrorist organization, including: (a number of firearms and ammunition - an assassination weapon - encrypted communication devices (Morse) - drones - flags and images of terrorist organizations - maps, narcotic substances, and financial sums - training weapons).
