The Director General of Kuwait Municipality, Manal Al-Asfar, has issued instructions to stop issuing new temporary licenses for event tents (banquet halls) until further notice, effective from tomorrow, Sunday. This is based on a circular from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, which is part of the preventive measures taken in light of the current situation in the region, to ensure the safety of residents and citizens. According to the Kuwaiti newspaper 'Al-Anba', Al-Asfar called on the relevant parties who have applied to the municipality for a new temporary license to establish banquet halls (event tents) to cooperate with the specialized inspection officials in the public cleanliness and road occupancy departments of Kuwait Municipality's branches in all governorates until the issuance of these temporary licenses is resumed.
