Kuwait announced on Friday morning that its armed forces successfully repelled a wave of hostile missile and drone attacks originating from Iran. The official spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, stated in a statement that Kuwaiti air defenses intercepted and destroyed 12 drones in the north and center of the country and 14 missiles in the south, two of which fell outside the threat area. He noted that these aggressive attacks caused only material damage from falling debris. The sounds of explosions heard in various parts of the state are the result of air defense systems intercepting ballistic and cruise missiles as well as drones, according to the Kuwait News Agency (Kuna). Bahrain also announced the successful interception of 84 missiles and 147 drones targeting its territory as a result of Iranian aggression.
