The authorities of Kuwait have unveiled a decree for travel within the country by car without a valid reason. This was reported by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, noting that driving around the country by car without a valid reason is considered a violation under the new Road Traffic Rule.
According to information from the ministry, violators face a fine ranging from 30 to 50 dinars upon referral of the case to court, and a fine of 15 dinars according to the decision of the regulating body of disputes, without the possibility of imprisonment.
"Such measures are being introduced to ensure public safety and compliance with traffic rules," the ministry noted.
