On Tuesday, the official Kuwaiti news agency announced the issuance of a decree by the emir. A new decree established a committee for the development and expansion of production in Kuwait, as well as for improving the living conditions of citizens. The committee will also be responsible for enhancing the country’s competitiveness and strengthening the economy, contributing to stability and sustainable growth.
An important task of the new committee is to create a strategic plan for the development of the country’s oil industry, which is the main source of income for Kuwait. In addition, it will engage in the integration of new technologies to improve the processes of oil extraction and processing, as well as strengthening cooperation with strategic partners.
"This committee plays a key role in realizing our strategy for modernizing the oil sector and integrating innovations in this field," emphasized the head of state.
