Al Qadsia Defeats Al Nasr in Gulf Cup Semifinal

In last night's match of the first stage of the Champions Cup, Al-Nasr faced off against guests from Kuwait, Al-Qadisiyah, at the field of Saudi Arabia. The guests secured the win with a score of 1:0, despite the fact that from the 23rd minute the home team played with ten men due to the dismissal of forward Ali Mukhut for a foul.

Al-Nasr was better on the field, but this dismissal changed the course of events. Al-Qadisiyah managed to score the only goal in the 39th minute after an error by Al-Nasr player Hussein Makhdhi, who failed to handle a pass, and the ball was intercepted by Ismail Hafi, who scored from outside the penalty area, opening the score in the game, bringing his team closer to the tournament final.

In the second half, Al-Nasr tried to respond quickly, but could not equalize the score. The final whistle confirmed the victory of Al-Qadisiyah with a score of 1:0, and the decision on the winner will be made in the return match in Kuwait. Al-Nasr will be forced to win in Kuwait to reach the final.
