Al Qasimi Publications is participating in the 48th edition of the Kuwait International Book Fair, which kicked off yesterday under the slogan 'Capital of Culture.. Nation of Book'. The event is taking place with wide Arab and international presence, under the supervision of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters in Kuwait, with the Sultanate of Oman as the guest of honor for this edition. Al Qasimi Publications is showcasing its latest academic releases, headlined by the monumental documentary encyclopedia 'The Historical Corpus of the Arabian Peninsula and Persia' by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. This work is considered a comprehensive scientific project, comprising 33 volumes in Arabic and an equal number in English, and it includes 1,473 historical documents from British, Dutch, French, and Ottoman archives, making it a fundamental reference for researchers of the region's history. The encyclopedia garnered significant attention in academic circles during its display at the Sharjah International Book Fair, which recently concluded, due to the comprehensive knowledge structure it offers, which re-reads historical events through documented chronicles and rare sources. Additionally, the Al Qasimi Publications pavilion displays a complete collection of the works of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, renowned in the fields of history, narrative, literature, and theater, including 'The Sultan of Chronicles and the Portuguese in the Sea of Oman - Events in Chronicles from 1497 to 1757 AD', along with a range of other publications translated into multiple languages, reflecting a growing international presence for Al Qasimi Publications' output.
