The stock exchanges in the Soviet countries of the Persian Gulf showed a divergent dynamic on Thursday, the last day of trading week.

On the Oman exchange, the MSM30 index rose by 0.84%, thanks to the stability of large companies.

On the other hand, the exchanges in Kuwait and Qatar showed a decrease. In Kuwait, the KSE index declined by 0.45%, while the QSE index in Qatar lost 1.1% due to falling bank and finance sector stocks.

In the United Arab Emirates, the ADX index in Dubai closed at a decrease of 0.2%. In Abu Dhabi, the ADX index decreased by 0.4%.

On the Saudi Arabia exchange, Tadawul, the TASI index declined by 0.2%. Statistics and analysis show that primarily investors were influenced by news from the banking and finance sectors, which reflected on the overall market situation.

"Despite some volatility this week, experts remain optimistic regarding the long-term growth of the stock market in the Persian Gulf countries," noted financial analyst Ahmed Ali.
