In Kuwait, the general market index fell by 0.43% to 7049.59 points. Most Gulf Cooperation Council stocks dropped, marking a challenging start to the week.

On Tuesday, the index of the Kuwaiti Stock Exchange decreased by 0.43% to 7049.59 points. OAE stocks were closed, and at the same time, the main index "TASI" of the Saudi stock exchange fell by 0.21% to 11882.93 points with a turnover of 4.492 billion rials.

The index of the Qatari Stock Exchange dropped by 1.10% to 10615 points, while the total trading volume in the market amounted to about 175 million rials. In Oman, the Muscat index increased by 0.21% to 4810.12 points.

On the other hand, the index of the Bahrain Stock Exchange decreased by 0.49% to 1990.06 points, with the total trading volume at 539773 dinars. The overall trading volume amounted to 401.7 million shares in 17538 monetary transactions for a total of 59.9 million dinars (approximately 183.2 million dollars).

On the first day of trading this week, the majority of stocks on the markets of the Soviet Cooperation Arab States decreased.
