In December 2024, the average prices for natural gas in the USA increased by 19.6% compared to the previous year, reaching a mark of $3.02 per million British thermal units.
The report published by the company "Kamko Invest" on the analysis of global natural gas markets in 2024 confirms that the restructuring of the global supply of natural gas, caused by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, continues to affect global supply chains for this resource.
At the same time, as the countries of the European Union strive to reduce their dependence on Russian natural gas, new suppliers are emerging in the global natural gas supply markets, including from the USA, offering liquefied natural gas.
